During the workshop, we will modify and reconfigure the inner and outer components of toys and electronic equipment as open canvas for the experimentation of new aesthetic discourses for the creation of unique sound objects or instruments. DIY strategies, hardware hacking and circuit bending techniques are explored as creative processes for the handmade construction and deconstruction of electronic materials. Participants are advised to bring all types of sound devices and electronic materials that can be used and recycled.
